About the Designer

Debby Hymowitz is an artist and fine art and documentary photographer, focusing on cultural iconography and socially conscious portraiture. She works with the prison reform movement, including wrongfully convicted. Debby has therefore chosen the word FREE for her bracelet, and the Innocence Project as her charitable organization.

Since she is currently shooting a project on cultural and nutritional sustainability in Bijagos, Guinea Bissau. Debby’s youngest of 3 daughters (Lilli, 20) is modeling her bracelet for us!!

About the Foundation:
The Innocence Project, founded in 1992 by Peter Neufeld and Barry Scheck at Cardozo School of Law, exonerates the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reforms the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
